ACT Information for Juniors – Tuesday, March 10, 2026

Juniors in the Cougar Class of 2027 will have the opportunity to take the ACT at Lakeville South on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, during Digital Learning Day.

  • Cost: $52.50 (reduced for students who qualify for educational benefits)
  • Registration window: Opens in late November 2025 through Infinite Campus - School Store
  • Location: Lakeville South High School
  • Note: Juniors not taking the ACT will not report to school and will have a digital learning day instead.

How to Register

(Registration opens in late November 2025)

  1. Log into the Infinite Campus portal on your mobile device
  2. Select School Store in the left sidebar menu
  3. Click Shop for Lakeville South High School
  4. Select Exam/Test Fees
  5. Choose ACT (View)
  6. Select the recipient, then add to your cart and proceed to payment

Day of ACT Test Instructions

Arrival:

  • Students must arrive between 7:45–7:55 AM and report to their Cougar Time classroom.
  • Testing room changes (if applicable) will be communicated before March 10.
  • The exam will begin promptly at 8:05 AM. Students arriving late will not be admitted.

What to Bring:

  • A picture ID (school ID preferred)
  • A fully charged iPad
  • An approved calculator (ACT calculator policy)
  • Snack/beverage for the break

Additional Details:

  • Extended-time testers will have a lunch provided or may bring their own.
  • Do NOT bring: phones or smartwatches.

After the Exam:

  • Standard time testers finish around 11:45 AM.
  • Extended time testers finish around 1:45 PM.
  • Students are excused once testing is complete, but may remain in the Commons if waiting for bus transportation. Lunch will be provided for those students.

Make-up Exam: A make-up ACT will be offered in late March 2026 (date TBD).
